Currently this property is served by a septic tank which gets emptied once in a while, but that's about to change, the run is being diverted to a newly commisioned public sewer sometime next week.
At the moment there is a 110 pipe coming out through the founds of the house, into a 110->160 reducer, a very very tight 160mm 90 bend and then off to the septic tank. Problem is the toilet requires flushing 4x for stuff to dissapear out of the bowl, I think that's due to the change in diameter + sharp bend right after, and using the minimum gradient (approx 1:100) so they don't have to dig deep.
Here in Slovakia they seem to have almost no clue how to lay waste water systems. Everything is 160mm, doesn't matter if there is only one person living there with a Q value of 0.8, 160mm still goes in.
The public sewer is only 315, and serves god knows how many 100's of houses.
Anyhow, after a bit of arguing I want to add rodding access, question is where exactly.
There is NO access inside the house (there is no stack or nothing) and everything is piggied up onto the 110mm (kitchen sink, Bathroom sink, Shower, Bath, Toilet) and I have no clue what is actually where or what diameter or angles used.
Im worried that even with the new pipe installed, the toilet will still have issues being flushed.
Im secretly hoping that once the sharp radius + increase in size is gone + a decent fall in the run, the issue will dissappear.
The question is where should the rodding eye be installed?
Ideally I would have a great radius before entering the main run, but property boundaries only give me a certain space to play with (approx 30cm)
So please see the drawing, what option would you go for, and why?
I know that rodding access is to give access to the straight run, and placing it before a bend, would it render it useless? Even if a medium or shallow bend is used?
Regards,
Daniel.
