you are a star. It was 1014. I have programmed, bells working on test and system sets. I thought it was the bells output that was the problem but had no idea what one to set. I take it it was the black wire you were looking at?
On another note, have you ever replaced the memory saver battery? Was just going to buy a super capacitor from RS and solder on.
Yes, from the wiring, it looks like black is 1014. It's a little odd to use black though - hopefully they haven't wired bell power to output 1014!!! Strobe is 1012. You need to understand what the two green wires in 1013 are. Do you have wired shocks, as they may be the shock reset signal and should be programmed as SET.
I haven't replaced any battery on the old pcb's, as I would just swap out for a Dimension 48/96 or G2-44. Yours is an older 18 and doesn't support Ethernet Etc. In saying that, change the cell and it will last another 20 years . Also, for the £10 price of a RIO, I would swap that over too. Shouldn't take more than half an hour....
Thanks again. Actually got a new rio in Garage. Had it for 3 years and havent been bothered to change it. Normally quicker to pull the power off it's board and it resets. Might change after this! Will probably do it when I fix the battery memory.
Yes I have a couple of vipers. Didn't know they needed a set signal. Will program now. As for the bell power looks like it is connected into the main power PCB (red and white wires from the 6 core the black came out of)..
If I wanted the ability to monitor alarm via internet what panel would I need and what would it cost and could I just swap over all connections and reprogram
