Hi, I have a vokera compact 28 combi boiler and wanting to install hive. I currently don't have a thermostat connected. How do I go about connecting the receiver to my boiler?

Hello guys.
We have Baxi Bermuda back boiler and from few day when fireing up CH or HW there is metalic knocking noise like on the metal sheet for about 1-2 min then stops and same again when fireing back, I have took fireplace cover off and can tell it's coming from heat exchanger, any help would be much appreciated.

You seem to know a lot of stuff about boilers, sorry that i did not as the right question in my post, but do you have any thing to help me with draining my boiler via the ( CH circuit drain ) can find the pipe but cannot find the TAP. 3.( From from Installation manual (To drain the primary heat exchanger circuit: Open the drain
valve and attach a length of hose to the CH drain point.) i Mini C24.

ive just added a photo of my old connections on the boiler .. could you have a look before i switch the power on, basically take the two links out and wire 2 cables from the reciever into the 24v terminal on the boiler?

I cannot thank you enough for your advice to contact Worcester direct. They put me on a 12 month service contract for £300 for the year and ended up replacing pretty much the entire top half of the boiler. I dread to think what this would have ended up costing from an independent plus I now have a 12 month warranty. You are a star!
