thanks for your comments regarding promax 24/2 boiler. sounds frighting to be told to change the boiler after having the boiler only 2years i think my choice of words were wrong when i said it was whining it's more like humming that go's up and down. i think i will try the first comment which was to flush the system thanks again gordongas
