    SOLVED - other half came home from work and with some extra muscle we were able to yank the worktop up and off the carcass. Small damage to the 1.5cm piece at the front but we will just replace that. Happy days

    Is the grey piece in that image the bracing bar? What is it made of? When they come to template I'm sure they'll tell me what bracing and battens I need but at least I know what sorts of things to check. I can move the door panel no problem
