    I believe that’s what the black thing is in the image. It’s like a plastic membrane, thick but flexible it seems. I’m no bricky or expert mind mate so could be wrong!

    I’ve currently got a live unwanted coax socket on my wall that I want to remove. My question is once I remove the faceplate what do I need to do with the cable on the inside before I fill the hole? I don’t want to put I blanking plate on, I want to completely remove it. Thanks!
