Outside, one to two bricks above soil before dpm on brick line. You can see the dpm working on the brick from the second pictures I attached.

The concrete pad is the orginal one, I have recently taken up the old screed and then used a concrete grinder to smooth off ready for tanking. No DPM under concrete. See attached picture of area dug up recently which shows layers. 4-5 inch concrete slab and then soil/ rubble layer.
