In my original post it says that the blocks are only up 7-8 ft from the foundations. That's not high enough to be finished. So it's new block work. I also replied to your question about photos by stating that photos wouldn't help as they would need to be close ups and that wouldn't give any...

Ok. Thanks any idea who I need to employ to take a look at this?

I'm not really expecting to get a diagnosis. I think it needs an inspection etc. Just want to know what profession I need to hire.

Our extension has cracks in the joints even though it's only about 7 to 8 feet up from the foundations. Unfortunately I dont think it's anything minor as it's in both the inside and outside walls. Does anyone know who I could get to inspect it. Any particular kind of surveyor or engineer etc...
