I have a Myson 55 Housewarmer with a not so pleasant front. I woudl like to remove the from and just leave the boiler bit on. A friend has a Glow Worm 56/3pp BBU (Back Boiler Unit, i guess) and says the front end can be detached to leave just the boiler unit. Is this advisabel and woudl i be better off replacing the Myson with his Glow Worm 56/3pp BBU and detach the front bit? Any caution/advise out there? Love, E.

Please help. Can the front end of the Myson 55 Housewarmer (has Emberglow label on it) be removed as it is looking very dated, such that just only the back boiler unit that is left? Is this risky? We need a cash strapped solution to this problem. Alternatively, is there any modern looking frontal piece that can be attached in its place? Any experience/words of wisdom out there?
