Started working life as a motor vehicle and bridge builder, but did a sidewards move into electrics, at first motor vehicle, then low voltage (mainly 400 volt three phase) did a lot of contract work, one year had 20 jobs in the year, but also returned many times to work for same firm, so did tunnel boring (Hong Kong), pipe lines (Algeria), Sizewell 'B', Falklands Airport, Second Seven Crossing, Petrochemical, with a lot of work with PLC's, and even some house bashing. I did in the end get a Degree in electrical and electronic engineering after an accident in terminal '5' Heathrow stopped me working, but never really used it. Now volunteer at the local Steam railway.
