Hello folks. Got a single channel hive. I know where the wires go for common and heating on etc. question is, can I take live neutral and earth off the main supply to the boiler or should this really be via a switch fused spur with 3 amp fuse? Thanks.

My earthing system is Tn-s. Had the house eicr done recently which confirms that. So swa cable to static with earth rod connected to the static consumer unit?

Might well just swap it then for a single channel hive. How will that be wired up then?

It was the guy at the company who sold the boiler. There is also a note on the diagram saying several input ports including RT are volt free. Yea, no motorised valves. So how would you suggest wiring the hive receiver into the boiler. I was going to tak the neutral and live from the receiver...
