Hey Freddie, seen your post about the loft conversion with the unusual roof - wall plate above ceiling joist (from 2017). My roof is constructed similarly. Please can you let me know if you did your loft and did you put the floor joists on top of the wall plate running direcly above the ceiling joist (with a gap due to the beam)? Thanks for your advise!

Hi I have seen a few of your posts relating to hip to gable roof extensions. We have had our planning rejected and we are hitting our head against a wall, as our architect has not argued the hip to gable point. The main issue is about mirroring our semi detached neighbour.
