The technician was going to get a new PCB board. A thread here pointed to the fuse and relay problem. Its difficult to even begin to consider the SCRs as there are no specs on the chips. Yes did try resetting No start light at all - can't test spin now.

My Miele washing machine was started, the water started filling and after about 2 minutes stopped, drum not turning, long pause and then emptied out the water. The "short" and anti-crease/finish light came on. After this and a couple of repeated failed starts there *ceased to be any light...
