idk if it's too late but just because someone has been doing something a certain way doesn't mean it's right. Get a large backerboard and use that in your wet areas. moisture resistant in other areas. I may have messed up myself as tanking now is reg and I thought taping my boards and sealing...
i have a normal hammer drill. that's what got stuck while using. it wont grip! barely gripped the bit. it's a bosch re or something. i have tile backerboard on there and so i'm trying not to destroy that as well.
yup i did that. My drill bits weren't very long so it was a struggle. the 60mm fixings i got were terrible (kingfisher hammer fixings which are partially screws) and I've partially destroyed my board.as the nails bent and got stuck. I still have a drill bit stuck too :notworthy: but oh well I'll...
Not too late at all! Still demoing the wall! Jackoboard head of specs finally got back to me and of course they stuck with what they posted online. 70mm makes sense especially as you were using a thinner board.

Good morning! I was thinking noone would be on and worried that I wouldn't get tile on today. I h'm installing to a bath with a tile line (will be replacing near future. I have space and money constraint as well and jacko says board should be 20mm for this kind of process. So that's good to...

also these management companies are terrible. my partner hasn't heard from there's since...

I'm thinking using...
