I am still having problems with my Alpha 240p boiler. I have had my regular heating engineer look at it and on my suggestion he has changed the thermo cup. The result is the pilot light has over the last week gone out again and has had to be relit. I called the engineer and he is scratching his head now and has just told me to monitor the situation. Not what I want to hear. The hot water is now very hot and as I say the pilot light appears to extinguish out of the blue. There is still a problem with the boiler but not sure what to do now any ideas would be welcome.
