The red switch is a plain rectangle with a light only the on off hasa toggle ability

My brand new Henry Hoovers red "rocker" switch is stuck flat and flush with the Hoover. Red light is on and speed is high. I cannot do anything with the button pressing has no effect I need help before I am sucked up.
