I have a 2002 Vauxhall Combo Di van,the starter motor was replacedand it now lacks power and the engine runs very noisy.The engine mangement light is permanently on,where previously it was mostly off.

I have a 2002 Vauxhall Combo DI van,the starter motor was replaced and it now now lacks power and the engine runs very noisy.The engine management light is permanently on where previously it was mostly off but did came on from time to time.Please help have no idea whats going on.
