How do I re-lock the door? I have put lubricant in lock but it won’t budge. Best solution is possibly just to remove lock - but not sure how to do that either.
Jammed like this

Put screwdriver in keyhole and tap with hammer towards door edge , or use pliers/ grips on protruding lock to pull out .

I manage to lever it out of door. I can now close door and use top lock, phew. Thanks for help.
Now time to work out why not working - maybe time for a new lock.

You can sometimes also lever it out through the screwholes with a small flat once you've taken the screws out, mortice locks (and most other locks) aren't designed to be lubricated throughout with oil.

If it's a standard size new lock is easiest and not very expensive, if it's an odd (expensive) size it is possible to service them.
