Buy 10+ 25kg bags of ballast and two bags of cement. Mix concrete (6:1) in a mixer. Lay concrete in the hole, tamp it flat-ish then walk away for a couple of hours. Trowel it smooth. Go have lunch. Trowel it again.
Can I use my existing bags of sand in some way?
Also, do I need to use MOT1 and crush it down?
Not really, unless it is rinsed sand. You can add a wee bit to 'fatten' up the mix.
Not especially as long as that conc' is 100mm thick.
Could I buy the aggregate on its own and mix with sand and cement that I already have? Or not worth it?
You need sharp sand, to mix with the aggregate. Building sand is too fine.
