Hi thanks for the replies. There doesn't seem to be 12mm expansion gaps so it defo sounds like moisture is around? We didn't knock the extension thru, it has been added on the back of the house, but was already done when we moved in. What's the sub area access trap? The wall paper bubbles down...

I have noticed our laminate wood flooring downstairs has become springy in areas. Also, some of the floor boards upstairs are springing up through the carpet and creaking more when you step on them. Could this be anything to do with water getting in anywhere? We have had loads of rain recently...
