Hole in the wall(!) - how to fill?

Thanks, John. The thing is, it's very difficult to access, it was difficult even just taking the photo, hence why I thought expanding sealing foam might be the best way to fill it. Is there a specific reason why I shouldn't use foam?

Hole in the wall(!) - how to fill?

There is a hole at the back of one of the cupboards in my kitchen which goes all the way to the outside of the property. It's approximately 3 inches in diameter. I obviously don't want the inside of the cupboard exposed to the outside, and I can also feel it letting a cold draft in, so could...

Draighty window-mounted extractor fans in bathrooms

I'm not sure actually. but I was wondering the same myself. We've only been here about 6 months, and I only noticed that there was no external cover when I went to take the photographs.

Draighty window-mounted extractor fans in bathrooms

We have two bathrooms in our property, both of which have the same problem: There are extractor fans mounted in the windows, but they have absolutely no shuttering or cowling on the exterior side to prevent incoming draughts. So they basically act as a big hole in the window when not in use...
