Hi, I have a direct wired cooker on a 40A type B MCD. Is it ok to switch out the direct wire for a 32A 3-pin industrial socket (so the cooker could be unplugged and something else plugged in from time to time in a domestic installation?

With the 18th edition (don't have a copy yet), what applications can you still use conventional plastic cable clips? Do you have to use metallic cable clips holding cables on to joists in the void between ceilings and the floor above, and how about attic spaces? Regards: Elliott.

Hi all, does anyone know if the online/digital version of the latest edition of BS7671 has been published yet? I am sure previous editions of BS7671 you could get in digital form, but can't find the digital version of the 18th edition on IET's website. Anyone know anything about this...
