45 degree

Hi Guys, I am planning a 2 story rear extension to my mid terraced freehold house in Enfield London (en2 postcode). It's going to have a depth of 3 meters (within permitted development). Will the 45 Degree rule apply? If yes maximum depth will be around 2 meters. Can anyone please help?
