outdoor plant

Hi there, During the period in the UK where we had super hot weather for long periods, a few of the outdoor plants got their leaves scorched by the sun. The laurel got hit pretty bad. Just wondering the best course of action to take? (Should I break off all the scorched leaves?) Thanks in...
