phlexiflow shower waste pump

Hi I purchased a house with this pump already installed. It does not work properly. When I open the shower, it will work for some time (2 to 15 minutes, random) then stop and water will accumulate. I tried to unscrew the shower waste to clean a little but this did not help. My only solution is...
