    Open kitchen ring continuity

Is it possible that an open ring, originating at the washing machine isolator, could cause an F17 door lock error on a Hotpoint w/m? The last gas/electrical inspection conducted by my social housing landlord, concluded with the engineer reporting an open continuity test on the kitchen r/m...

Ring main breaker tripping - can't identify cable fault

Looking for some help I have with a ring main. The 32A breaker serving this circuit tripped and wouldn't reset so by a process of elimination, I established (I think) that there is an issue with a cable running between two adjacent sockets (around 2m apart). If the live from either end of this...

    Spur on ring main.

I know the limit is one spur from a socket on a ring main. Is this a spur to a double socket? If so, is a spur to two singles back to back in a stud partition ok. I would have thought this would be similar to one double.
