Hi I'm painting by son's bedroom, he currently has silk on his walls. I know painting matt over silk is a bit troublesome so I'm using soft sheen. However I've done 1 coat and it looks very patchy. Is it ok to paint soft sheen straight over silk? Should I have rubbed it down or used a primer...
