    Advice -UPVC door handle/spindle 7mm - to small??

    Hi all I recently purchased a new handle as old one was old and the 7mm spindle was spinning/slipping in the door mechanism. You could actually see through the spindle hole in mech where it had rounded off. I then put in a spare 8mm as these I have only seen on the past and it worked fine...

    Hi im wanting to change my door locking mechanism so that it cant be opened from outside without a key. I’ve checked my current lock and it only has a single spindle so i guess this needs to be changed. My fathers door once shut required the key to be fully turned to open but still operated...

    Split Spindle Problem

    A few weeks ago I changed the handle set on a UPVC door, replacing a worne-out pair of Hoppe handles (with snip) with exactly the same Hoppe handle set. I re-used the split spindle that was already in place. It all worked for a few weeks, but this morning the outside handle did not do its job...
