vinyl tile

I'm about to start a project to replace flooring in dining room House is circa 90 years old. Underneath the wooden flooring is a thin underlay, underneath this are vinyl floor tiles, below the tiles is about 10mm of what looks like red clay. This is damp and below this is the concrete floor...

Hi, In my home we have Amtico tiles on the ground floor and in all bathrooms. Now I'd like to replace carpet firstly in the landing/corridor on the 1st floor. The thing is that under the carpet there is a foam: https://ibb.co/hf4nmtP all sitting on OSB or plywood. I'd like to avoid big gaps...

Anyway if lifting vinyl tiles of an asphalt floor other then scraping. Going to be here all year.
