Iam currently having an extension done and the builder has forgot to tape up the joints with foil tape on the rigid board insulation but it is tongue and grooved, all the walls are now up, will it pass inspection or not? And if not could we use insulated plasterboard on the inside to save taking...

I have a third-floor Victorian flat (circa. 1900) and I have always assumed that it had solid walls, however the walls are 15.5" thick. The brick pattern doesn't help as the wall is so thick you would expect to see the ends of the bricks as well as sides, see below...
