Morning All,
I have a new primary (internal) expansion vessel arriving today for my Potterton Powermax HE 150 boiler.
The manual says it should be set to 1.0 bar, however, I've seen it mentioned that's only for 'cold' pressures and that it should be set to 0.2 bar less, (i.e. 0.8 bar).
I'm draining ALL of my system today to fix some leaky radiator pipes. Will fit the new expansion vessel and PRV so expect the system to be empty of water for a couple of hours.
Does this therefore constitute 'cold' pressure? Should I set / inflate it to 1.0 bar?
Cheers.
Alex
