Hey what are peoples opinions on 1.5 inch flexible waste pipe connectors am thinking of using one on a shower tray raised on a plinth to make connecting the trap easier. Have always hard piped before. But could see how using these would be easier.

As long as the pipe has the required fall throughout its length then they can be used but always better to use normal pipework where possible.
They do come into their own when space is restricted though, spend a few pennies more on a good quality one, say from McAlpine
