We got someone in to do the shed roof thinking it would not leak for years.....it's leaking second time now. Already called him out last year and he gave some excuse of using rubber washers. I think he used some sealant and tightened some up. From the pics what are my options to try and seal it? Also at end I need some low expanding foam to fill the gaps which I can't seem to find . What are my options to fill them in?

mark1a, good evening.

Any chance at all of images above the roof, and the images really need to be somewhere near the points of water ingress?

Ken

What gaps are you looking to fill? If it is at the eaves you can buy profiled filler units...

As Ken said...pic of the outside.

should only be fixed through the peak of the corrugation

Hence the request for images of the roof surface, the images posted suggest one fixing is on the peak of the corrugation and the other is in the trough of the corrugation. as I say somewhat confusing.

The volume of ingress is low? could just be a missing grommet on 2 fixings? or even a missing top cap?

Foam is not waterproof, and not an option. And your options of filling holes from the underside are nil.

In the first pic show the the two that leak. Obviously one has been sealed using g something.

mark1a, good evening again.

OK the images posted explain

Looks as if your installer has damaged / cracked the sheet when he was installing it?

Best way forward now??? can you call the installed back to replace the damaged sheet? or do you live with what you have??

Ken

KenGMac,

Thanks for replying again. The first screw is what he did when we called him out . Do you think he cracked the roof sheet?

Very little damage for a leak , looks like condensation, water runs down till it hit obstruction( roof touches timber, or screw ) then drips off.
