125mm screws

Fixing 25x50 batten through 70mm insulation to u/s of timber rafters in roof- then plasterboard screwed through to battens

Will 125mmx4.8 drywall screws be ok for fixing the batten or should i use proper wood screws but seem to only be able to get 125mmx6mm

Does it matter?

To answer my own question 130mm/6mm spax screws are doing the trick. Keep missing the joist behind the insulation - even though I have marked them!
