I have a set of 3 12v 10w ( mr11 ) lights which are powered via a ac/ac adapter.
The adapter is 240 ac in 12v ac out at 2500mA 30va.
This adapter has gone, no o/p the mains is ok to the unit, but even with all bulbs and cables out there is no 12v.
Could I use a 12v dc power supply with a 5amp o/p.
Or is it a/c only for the bulbs.
