Ok,
I have 8 of these in my lounge, and two dont work. Assumed it was the bulbs, but it isnt.
After some looking and poking, the plastic sqaure thing on ther end of two wires which the lights slot into are buggered. If i wiggle the bulb around in this plastic 'thing', it comes on then off again, so that would indicate to me a loose wire or something wrong with the plastic 'thing'.
So, I am going head down to B&Q on my lunch, and get 2 new ones.
Questions are,
What is the 'thing' called. It has two wee holes for the 12v/50w bulb to slot into. I would say 'bulb connector'.
Looking into the ceiling, there is a wire coming from the transformer i think, this is then joined by a plastic block, which from that is two wires into the plastic 'thing' which the bulb connects to. Are you able to buy the two wires and bulb connector thing as a standalone item. Cant imagine it would cost much, just two wires and a plastic connector thing.
Hope this makes sense.
