140x65x1200 lintel on its side?

Need to put a new opening in block wall for door.
Blocks are 150mm wide the lintel will only be supporting 4 courses of blocks with nothing on top of those.
Space is tight above opening for door so could I use lintel on side so 65mm is the height?
It will be a concrete lintel, as below

65mm is the height of a brick, hence the size.......

If I’d have known this was an option I could have saved loads on bricks when I built my extension. I’d probably still be pointing the perfs, though.
