Hello, is there any way that I can wire in a dual fuel cooker requiring a 15amp supply to an existing kitchen ring circuit, or do I need to run a dedicated supply back to the CU? The existing ring supplies a dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle.

I am aware of Part P.

Many thanks,

Are you sure it doesn't say a 13 amp supply as that would be typical of most dual fuel cookers?

If it is 13 amps, you can use a switched FCU with 13A fuse, either added into to your ring or spurred off it. :)

It's definitely a 15amp requirement as it's rated at 3.4kW. (It's a french cooker).

What can I say except --

B*gger! :( :( :(

I can't see an easy way out of this. Unless anybody else knows different, you're going to need a 16 amp radial in 2.5 sq mm cable going back to its own breaker.
