15mm copper to Bath taps. Hoses reduce bore and flow?

Hi,

I've recently fitted a bath as part of a renovation. Existing piping is 15mm (hot comes from modern Combi in loft). I just used 15mm to 3/4 braided hose with an isolating valve. However I've since looked at the spec of the hoses, and the bore is about 10mm. This will surely reduce flow to the bath taps?

Not sure what to replace them with, as I want to be able to isolate them with full bore valves but don't want to then reduce the bore with flexi hoses, or plastic pipes with inserts at the fitting..all I can think if is to use a reducer and copper pipe right to the taps, but not 100% confident I'll be able to line it up spot on.

Any ideas?

As your water pressure will be at mains, the reduction in pipe work size may not make too much of a difference......but it certainly would if you had a gravity feed system!
Also, your combi can only produce so much hot water so probably wouldn't like running at full bore - or at least couldn't keep up with the hot requirements.
Only my opinion!
John :)
