Hi
I live in a 19th century terrace with old 15mm thick floorboard, i need to replace some old boards but i can't find any that are that size, most i have found have been 20mm.
please can you help me?
The cheap option is to cut grooves across the back of each board, so that the joists sit in the grooves and lower the floorboard to the same level as the others around it.
Or, you could always find a local woodshed with a large bench, and have him chop a few mm off.
On the risk of being booooed here for advertsing our company: we supply solid Oak 14mm T&G boards. They are pre-finished (lacquered). See our ad at Find a supplier (Ashford area or TN27)
