Hi all,
I'm fitting my own kitchen and I need to connect the cold feed to both the tap and a washing machine. There was a standard 15mm x 15mm x washing machine tee originally, with one of the 15mm outlets serving the tap tail but it strikes me that it would be better to seat the tap tail on a fitting designed to accept it. i.e. a male BSP thread with a hard shoulder. I have a suitable fitting for the hot feed but am having difficulty sourcing one for the cold
Anyone help or am I just being too precious?

Unfortunately there isn't such a thing - all appliance valves are 15mmx3/4" BSP. Was it a black handled valve, they comes in 15mmx15mm compression flavours.

As recommended though, you now get 15mmx1/2"BSP flat faced valves for exactly that purpose.

The OP is describing a tee with 15mm compression at two ends and the third part has an isolation valve and 3/4 BSP connection for a washmac feed. Have you been up all night trying to get Oasis tickets ;)
