Our 1930’s is in need of repointing. It looks like different materials were used over time, with the lightest one on the photos crumbling out. The most recent repairs seem to have been done in cement. Considering the age of the house should we look at using lime mortar? I’ve read different advice on lime, some mix it with cement some say that’s a definite no. Any advice on this much appreciated.
