Hi all,
Our upstairs toilet is from the 1970s I think, and has a flush mechanism that I haven't seen before. You pull the small knob on the top to flush, the bowl fills up then drains. Inside the cistern there are two floats.
The toilet runs all the time into the bowl. All the other toilets also did this, but are more modern and I could dismantle them, clean everything and replace the joints. This one I can feel limescale under the bottom joint but I can't get at it.
Does anyone know how to take these apart so that I can get at the bottom joint? And should the toilet bowl be filling with water then draining when I flush?
Video of flush here (if it works) https://photos.app.goo.gl/VPiELubQGLjeHfKP8
Thank you!
Gill
