Wondering what qty (if any it'll have above the plasterboard?
My guess is none as the ceiling gets very cold, it's about 10-12ft long & 5 ft deep surrounded by you've been pvc'd double-glazing.
Q. is it worth ripping down the plasterboard & maxing it out insulation wise? OR will the fact that there are windows all around it mean it's a pointless exercise? ..my train of thought is that insulation over no insulations always better, but will it do any good / affect HIP's & all that sort of thing?
..the other thing i should point out is that theres a long double depth rad in the window also & there's smoke / soot on the bay ceiling so warm air from the open-fire is evidently circulating.
Thanks all.
