2 Months ago I had MFI real solid beach wood kitchen worktops installed
When the MFI installer leaved he did not mention that I needed to reapply the ‘worktop oil’ again almost immediately (as they don’t have the time to apply 2nd 3rd coat)
There is now significant cracking around the sink area
I have contacted MFI and in all fairness to them, they have sent another fitter round who has agreed to sand down and re-oil
The Oil they use (in a yellow tin) is simply labelled as …
‘PRIME WORKTOP OIL (WRK3595)”
“PROVIDES A SATIN LUSTRE FINISH TO WOOD”
“DEEP WOOD PENETRATION”
I have read reports here that either JUNCKERS OIL or DANISH OIL are the ones to use
Simply, which is best and do I need to sand this MFI OIL off first before reapplying the Junckers/Danish Oil
