well, it's the time of the year to crank up the heating again, but i've had a problem.

there are 7 rads in my system. and 2 different problems.

2 of them wont bleed at all, turn the valve and nothing comes out, no air, no water, no sound. maybe i'm misunderstanding the inlet and outlets, one end has a knob, and the other has a temperature adjuster. tried the knob both ways, and the adjuster is on "full".

3 of them have bled nicely, but are not heating up. not even slightly.

and the remaining 2 heated up initially, but have now lost all warmth, after say 15minutes?

boiler is a worcester heatslave 15/19 oil fired combi boiler. which is maintaning good pressure after being topped up after each rad was bled.

any ideas?

i know, at the top right-hand corner theres a small screw, thats whare ive bled them. i wastalking about the inlet and outlet valves/taps asi understand that they both need to be open??

both open yes, Is your system pressurised to 1.5bar if not feed by a header tank?

The bleed nipples can become blocked, BE VERY CAREFULL AND QUICK remove the nipple completely and poke a needle into the hole it will start to hiss VVVV fast so be ready to replace the nipple, Probz best to do this with both valves closed
