I am having an extension built and the existing fuse box is to be relocated and replaced by a consumer unit.

This will not be completed for 2 weeks and in the meantime I wish to temporarily power two bedrooms in the extension. To facilitate this I was going to utilise the 20 amp fuse which originally was used for the immersion heater, which is now obselete.

The upstairs has been wired in a ring but I was wondering if I should connect it in a radial circuit or connect it in a ring to this 20 amp connection?

The total number of sockets supplied is 13.

there shouldn't be any problem wiring this ring circuit temporarily to a 20 A fuseway.

it would be sensible to check you have continuity on all conductors of the ring before connecting up in case something has been forgotten, etc.
