I attended a boiler repair and was asked to look at a leaking connection to the Megaflow cylinder heating coil.
The pipe used was a grey plastic with a 20 mm o.d. and about 15.8 mm internal diameter.
This had been fitted into a standard 22 mm Conex compression fitting with a "special" olive and no pipe insert. Not surprisingly it was leaking.
I made a bodge repair but want to do it properly at some time as its clearly unsatisfactory.
Chris suggested that this is actually pipe designed for UFH and there are connection kits available to use it with 22 mm compression fittings.
Can anyone identify that manufacturer and suggest any stockists?
