Hi
I need to replace the fuel filter on a 2001 1.3 Fiesta (Endura) but can't disconnect the fuel lines from it.
Is a special tool required? (I gave up being on the spanners years ago.)
If I depress the 2 small white buttons on the connectors I still can't disconnect the darn fuel lines (really not helped that I can't get the car high enough to give me a decent working height underneath - I have about 16 inches space from floor to filter.)
I can't get it onto ramps as it's a non-starter now due to (I think) a blocked fuel filter that started blowing the fuel pump fuse a couple of weeks ago.
And to think I used to do MK 2 Escort head gaskets in 30 mins and Cortina voided bushes in 10 mins.
