Hi i have a 2005 toyota avensis 2.0 d4d ,after recently changing the front wheel bearing noticed that the abs light on the dash stays on,is there anyway of resetting this without diagnostic tools, i have taken the sensor out a cleaned also disconnected battery for an hour in hope it would clear any help appreciated.

Its logged a fault either because the sensor was damaged when changing the bearing or the reluctor ring(if it uses one) that it picks up is not in the correct position/damaged.

As above....the bearing must be put in the correct way - which isn't always obvious, especially if the reluctor magnet is held in the bearing dust seal.
